After several months of work, fine-tuning, and a few stressful moments along the way (yes, even without afterburner 😄), the cockpit has reached a major milestone.
The structure is now fully completed. Everything is solid, clean, and true to the spirit of the F-16. All mechanical elements are in place, properly fitted, and ready for long flight sessions.
On the electronics side, it’s also a big success: the integration of the PS Cockpit systems is now complete. All modules have been installed, wired, and carefully configured. Full system tests have been carried out under Falcon BMS, and the result is clear: everything is working perfectly. All inputs are recognized, the panels respond as expected, and the overall experience is already highly immersive.
Speaking of panels, they are now all installed and fully operational. Seeing everything light up and respond correctly for the first time is quite a moment — this is where the project truly comes to life.
But this is far from the end of the journey.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be publishing a series of more technical articles detailing the configuration process of the PS Cockpit elements. The goal is simple: to share the steps, highlight common pitfalls, and provide best practices to help others who want to get started or improve their own setup.
Stay tuned for what’s next!
